The Pillars Music Spotlight Series has landed! Prepare your ears for some auditory treats, as these bi-monthly playlists bring you the sounds of the East End. Brought to you in conjunction with Byrd Out, this series is devoted to shining a spotlight on the East London music community. Each 2-hour playlist will showcase outstanding talent hailing from East London, including artists such as Betamax and Lia Mice.
This month's playlist has been curated by none other than the mercury nominee, Betamax. After forming such formidable bands as ‘The Comet is Coming’ and ‘Soccer96’ Betamax has gone on to spawn a collection of esoteric spin-offs such as ‘Champagne Dub’ and ‘Coma World’. He recently delivered his latest record ‘Betamax vs Clive Bell’, a collaboration with his own father, Clive Bell.
