SUMMARY OF POSITION

Established in 2016 Pillars Brewery is a family run, successful, and independent lager specialist. Our lagers have won multiple national and international awards, in fact we’ve won over 25 awards including the UK’s Best Lager and the UK’s Best Strong Lager… three times! In the past 2 years we have experienced rapid growth due to the extremely high quality and consistency of our beers. We have invested heavily in our brewery and production capabilities and are now looking to expand the sales team to continue our sales momentum and growth.

Pillars Brewery are seeking a highly motivated, professional, self-starter to be responsible for direct sales across South & West London pubs, shops and restaurants. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years sales experience in London. The ideal candidate will be organised, diligent with their time, super passionate about a high quality product, have good walking shoes, personable, love teamwork and most importantly eager and excited to be part of our journey over the next few years and beyond. Pillars Brewery’s mission is to make the very best lager in the UK and we strive for continuous improvement, this extends beyond process to staff and as an employee you will have the opportunity to improve your knowledge and skill set through various training courses and learning materials available.

The London Sales Manager will report directly into the Head of Sales. Bonuses will be paid based on achieving KPIs. For an exceptional candidate, there will be an opportunity to obtain stock options in the Company following an initial period.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Identify prospects and build a forensic knowledge of your territory
  • Generate new leads through thorough and targeted research and master the sales process through continued learning
  • Build new customer relationships through response time, ‘usefulness’, professionalism and service
  • Diligently gain a deep understanding to maintain and fully utilise Hubspot CRM and Breww sales platforms. Training and resources will be provided
  • Attend activations, brewery trade customer tours, customer tastings, events and trade shows
  • Exhibit basic negotiation skills and follow pricing structure set out by Finance Director
  • Manage our value proposition and identify “what’s next?” to grow existing accounts
  • Work towards set sales targets. Targets will be revenue and contracted permanent line based
  • Build detailed and targeted sales strategies & plans within your territory
  • Provide in-depth weekly sales, activity and visit reports
  • Maintain high levels of internal and external communication
  • Possess a strong sense of urgency in order to win business and close new deals
