SUMMARY OF POSITION
Primarily, the pub manager will be responsible for ordering stock, setting the rota, managing stock systems, cellar maintenance and organising events. We are looking for someone that is ultimately responsible for the day-to-day running of the pub. They will be expected to work most peak hours to ensure the efficient and safe running of the venue. Weekly working hours are a minimum of 40 hours per week. Bonuses will be paid for hitting gross margin, % wage cost and net revenue targets. |
Primary Responsibilities:
Ordering stock and managing stock systems |
Organising events and tastings |
Rota management |
Cellar maintenance |
Ensure compliance with all health and safety laws |
Growing pub revenues |
Produce daily report for management |
Quarterly staff appraisals |
Maintain agreed staff cost percentage |
Exit interviews with feedback to management |
Maintain agreed product gross margin |
Weekly bulletin message to staff to keep them up to date |
Ensure senior staff (supervisor or above) is on site at all times |
Train up new starters and introduce them to the wider Pillars team |
Weekly meeting with management |
Liaise with CRATE operations for events etc. |
