Sometimes life throws something unexpected and awesome your way. That is exactly what happened to Pillars with the supremely talented and lovely Jack Garratt!
In a serendipitous turn of events, Stella Creasy brought it to our attention last year that Jack Garratt, a Walthamstow local, had released and album called Pillars and we, a Walthamstow brewery, are also called Pillars.
Shoutout to Stella!
We reached out to Jack and some giveaways, chats and ideas, eventually culminated in two beautiful, intimate shows at the Malt Haus.
Jack recently performed his recent release The Tension Between across two gorgeous and very hot evenings. It was a huge honour and pleasure for us to host Jack and his lovely fans. Thank you so much to Jack and his team! Definitely a highlight of the year.
